A Gift for Dad

Words cannot describe the overwhelming feelings from the beautiful photograph you have taken of my girls. We may not be ever able to thank you enough for such a priceless gift. Your thoughtfulness can be described in many ways, but I would like to some it up in one; friend. You may think this is a strange summary, but I will try and clarify my definition of this word. I believe that only someone who is thoughtful, kind and sincere, can be called friend. By taking the time to make my daughters comfortable, making the experience enjoyable, and helping them with their insecurities, exemplifies these qualities. I may never know how much effort, organization and time this has taken for you, but I feel that I was the luckiest father alive Christmas morning, and you gave that to me. For that, I thank you, more than those words can ever express.

What can we say about you, and how can we possibly begin to thank you in words?  Well, first off we have to thank Andrea's mom for noticing your amazing way with people at a wedding she attended a few years ago.  She saw then, what we soon would experience ... your charming, comforting, accommodating, charismatic and larger than life infectious personality put all our guests at ease.  To say you are a fantastic photographer is a given.  However what really impressed us was how you were with our close family and friends, especially the children!

The photos you took were elegant, stunning and timeless.  Not only did you deliver a breathtaking set of memories for us to enjoy for the rest of our lives, you also captured the "old Hollywood inspired" style that we were looking for on our wedding day. The simple and sophisticated manner in which you arranged our precious memories in our wedding album delivered on a promise you made to us - that is to deliver photos of the most incredible day of our lives that almost perfectly match the memories we hold in our minds and so close to our hearts.

You captured the memories of the happiest day of our lives forever for us and all of our loved ones to enjoy.  Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts!

When we were searching for our wedding photographer we must have looked through hundreds of collections of pictures and every once in a while, we would say “Oooh! Look at that one!”. Well, when we got to see your portfolio, our jaws dropped and we were saying “Wow” at every picture. When there are so many things to worry about on your wedding day, to have the utmost confidence that the photographs are going to be stunning no matter what the day brings, is a wedding gift in itself.

Throughout the process you showed us repeatedly how excited you were for our special day, and you truly made us feel as though we were your only clients, as well as good friends. Unlike many couples who say that they want their wedding photographer to be invisible to them and their guests, we were beyond thrilled with the presence you did provide. Your huge energy, charm and sense of humour brought out so much laughter and let those of us who are rather a little bit guarded, let loose and “let the love out”! You naturally created that opportunity for us, for which we will always be grateful. Your work Trevor is vibrant. Your imagination is bold. Your personality is refreshing.

Our wedding day was absolutely the most fun day in our lives, and we know that a big part of why that is, is because of the exuberance and excitement that you brought to the event. We are convinced that there is no one better in your craft.
