About two months ago I created a Facebook Page to compliment this website and to have a presence on one of the largest social sites on the web. Within a month I was closing in on 500 'Fans' and had booked a number of weddings and family portraits though it so I decided to show my appreciation by offering a free shot to one of those fans. Well that was a lot of snow.  But I'm glad it's gone.  Karla and Jon wanted an engagement shoot in the snow and that white stuff stuck around for nearly a week.  We shot this in our hometown of Fall River, just outside Halifax.  Their wedding is in May and I'm so glad I'm their wedding photographer.

Isaac and his mom, Kate, popped over on Halloween for some Trick-or-Treating and we thought it would be nice to get a quick shot in the studio. Who would have thought that quick shot would have wound up on the 2010 HRM Calendar (His dad is a Fire Chief).

As many of you know (especially if you read my bio), I worked for years at Inn on the Lake, a beautiful hotel just outside Halifax, NS.  I coordinated all the weddings during most of my stay there but once I left, it was a thrill to photograph weddings there as I was so familiar with the property and it's really a beautiful spot.  I'm currently gathering a bunch of my Inn on the Lake wedding photos for their booth for the two Wedding Shows in Halifax - and I figured I would post a few here.

Andre and I go back a long way.  In fact, I've known him since I was 5 and I was thrilled when he asked me to be his wedding photographer.  He married the love of his life, Christine, and it was a perfect day for a wedding.

I love doing Christmas Cards.  I get great satisfaction knowing I'm creating the image that a family wants to sent to everyone at this time of year.  Here are a few - I'll find more to post once I'm caught up.

Don and Nathalie, a wonderful couple, and their children joined me at the Lochs in Fall River early in November for a fall family portrait.  We had a fun time and were blessed with great weather for the shoot.

Patrick & Tricia are having twins.  They are very excited and have asked me to shoot their pregnancy photos.  We decided the best place and time to do them would be first thing in the morning at Crystal Crescent Beach.  It was a fun shoot and I look forward to meeting their two new additions.
